- Display(ing)Text contribution to First, Then… Repeat. by Hackers & Designers, led by Anja Grootenfanfare, Hackers & Designers, Anja Grooten
The display catalyses the research, directs the viewer, exposes the process.
The display allows you to claim space, frame content, and publish ideas.
The display shapes the experience and, ultimately, the end result.
The display is a publishing device.
Drawing on the modular display system for fanfare(2014) designed with Lotte van de Hoef, the text considers the display as a medium of its own, a tool for thinking critically about the links between research, visual language, nudged interaction, spatial publishing, and its various potential publics.
